What a fucking gorgeous day...really, can life get anymore beautiful??

I woke up to the most amazing sound on my radio this morning---my alarm is set to college radio and I heard some really lovely sounding keys and a soulful and jazzy voice. The song on the radio seemed to be telling me that today was going to be a good day, no matter what. The song got me immediately moving--I wasn't the usual foggy blur when I wake up before 9:30am...but I woke up wanting to explode out of bed, half-way wondering, "am I still dreaming?" I suffered through some really terrible tunes waiting around for the announcer to tell me who that sweet jam was from...he comes on saying, "wasn't that a great way to start your day?" ---i'm thinking, "GOD? You have a radio station and you're reading my mind?" but the announcer simply said, "...that was Laura Reed & Deep Pocket"

My prayers have been answered --finally a new and truly soulful and impressive band that doesn't suck...a band that makes me want to get out of bed in the morning!!! I immediately went and got the CD -- and let me tell you --it's just ridiculous amazing.
